The soil types include productive Flinders River frontage which make up approximately 10,000Ha of the holding with 3,100Ha of black basalt tableland and 5,000Ha of undulating black soil downs. Approximately 1,500Ha of basalt wall separates the frontage grazing country from the basalt tablelands creating a unique distinction between soil types.
Grasses include Mitchell, Flinders and Blue grass with substantial areas of Buffell grass prevalent and small areas of Rhodes grass. Water
